We seek Engineers with experience in Control and Electrical/Automation engineering design, commissioning and production improvements, preferably in the Speciality Chemicals business.

As an effective Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for the automation engineering design and installation, from inception to commissioning. You will be responsible for the financial control on a project and will have the ability to ensure that projects are completed to target and specification. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in managing projects from conceptual stage through to design and commissioning in a Chemical manufacturing environment. Familiarity with safety studies is essential together with proven ability to communicate effectively across all disciplines.

Applications are invited from HNC engineers with 3 yrs automation experience or hold a degree in Control and / or Electrical Engineering. (IEE and/or InstMC). Candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience Control and Electrical/Automation engineering design, commissioning and production improvements, gained within a speciality chemicals business. Additional skills required are knowledge of IEC61131 and S88 Software and Batch standards; knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems to meet IEC 61508 and 61511; the ability to programme various PLCs and DCS systems.
