Large International Consultancy require Engineering Progfessionals to operate in their offices in Warsaw Poland.
Job Title: Associate
Location: Warsaw
Qualifications:
Mgr Engineer with 8 + years experience or Engineer with 10+ years of experience
Licensed Engineer or Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer
Job Purpose:
My Client's design offices in Warsaw undertake multi disciplinary design work for projects throughout Central Europe and Russia. Their clients principally consist of internationally focused architects and developers and appreciate the skills and added value they are able to bring to their projects.
They are expanding the capability of their Warsaw team and wish to appoint an Associate Mechanical Engineer to operate within this market. The requirements will from time to time demand travel to where opportunities are (current regional projects with English speaking clients are ongoing in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary, Russia, Georgia and Ukraine).
This role represents an important development from one exclusively responsible for technical engineering and design work into one that starts to take on the wider issues of business management.
Associates will typically take responsibility for management of people, client and commercial issues as required by the Project Leader role. In this capacity you will represent my Client internally and externally on behalf of your Group.
Person Specification:
An Associate must be able to demonstrate a good standard of capability across most, and a developing standard of capability across the remaining Core Competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of an Associate Director:
Runs a team of people within the Group
Lead single and multi-discipline projects on behalf of the group (operating as Job or Project Leader as appropriate)
Prepare and take responsibility for project engineering solutions for detail design
Prepare Technical Specifications and check work/specifications of subordinates
Develop own Client relationships and secure repeat work where possible
Actively seek new work from existing clients
Prepare Financial and Technical proposals
Reviews job financial performance and adjust resources accordingly
Undertake high-level project technical/quality reviews and attend design workshops for projects relevant to experience across the practise
Contribute to my Clients core initiatives with respect to technical development / market sectors and processes
Commitment to self learning including development of own preferred area of expertise.
