An exciting senior level opportunity has arisen for the position of Associate Director for a leading environmental and engineering consultancy who offer services into the water, waste, energy, and construction industries.
This is a role where you can make a real difference and build upon already great success within the water sector working on one of the most lucrative parts of the business for this leading company. This is a key role within the Senior team reporting to the Water Engineering Director and an opportunity to make your mark. You can be based either from their Edinburgh or Glasgow office.
The right candidate will have a strong track record in developing business and an enthusiasm for winning and delivering consultancy projects within the water sector. You should also have desire to join a successful and expanding business which offers a wide range of services within the sector. This company are looking to continue their progress in growing the business, capitalising on their unique range of skills available in supplying services to their clients.
Responsibilities:
-You will be expected to use your extensive understanding of technical and business issues and the consultancy services required to build meaningful dialogue and relationships with key clients.
-To add value to individual proposals and projects to grow and enhance the services provided.
-To work closely with other members of the team, influencing and contributing to business development plans and activities.
Requirements:
-BSc/ MEng or equivalent Relevant technical subject.
-It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the drivers and structure of the Water sector, along with good access to significant and relevant customers.
-You must have well established relationships in this sector and a strong track record of successful business development.
-You will also have sound grasp of the technical issues affecting the industry and how these are reflected in consultancy services. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to successfully win and deliver projects, and will have excellent communication skills.
Salary:- Very competitive basic salary. Negotiable and dependant on experience.
