An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Technical Director within a leading UK based environmental and engineering consultancy. This is a high profile opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business.
This is an opportunity to play a leading role in the development of this leading company's multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental business in the Regeneration sector in the South East.
Responsibilities:
-You will work closely with established delivery focused technical resources and sector developers to establish and implement a regeneration business development plan in the South East to build upon successes within the public and private sectors.
-This will include developing and maintaining personal contacts with key customers; drawing up account management plans and collaborating with colleagues in the national regeneration team to maximise opportunities.
-You will also manage proposals and bids through to successful conclusion; direct the profitable delivery of projects from gaining planning permission through to the built environment; and interface with locally based environmental and engineering disciplines.
Requirements:
-BSc/BEng Relevant Subject Degree. Ideally Professionally qualified ie ICE, RICS, RTPI or equivalent.
-A proven track record of building up sustainable business streams; established customer relationships in the South East, both in the public and private sector.
-Managed environmental and engineering services on major development schemes.
-Experience of working in multi-company, multi-disciplinary development teams.
-Competent in the use of Management Information Systems to analyse and measure performance and then derive action plans. -Experience in the co-ordination of engineering and environmental skills to derive best value solutions.
Salary:- Very competitive basic salary. Negotiable and dependant on experience.
