Manufacturing Manager - Merseyside
£Up to 35,000 + Pension + Product Training
The Company
Recognised and respected brand in the supply of electro-mechanical products for the transport sector. With strong backing from their parent group the company are ready to undergo huge expansion and plan to grow their turnover by £8 million. To achieve this, the company are recruiting for a number of key personnel.
The Role
Crucial to the success of the business is the championing of a new continuous improvement culture. This will be your key priority in the role along with introduction of new KPI's and measuring performance versus them. You will be directly responsible for fifty staff and your approach in developing these personnel will be key to your success in the role.
The Candidate
In this role the company are looking to recruit a strong, customer focussed, leader with experience in managing and motivating a manufacturing workforce. Prior experience of introducing Lean Manufacturing techniques into a fast moving manufacturing environment is essential and practical experience in the application of Six Sigma would be a definite advantage. Ideally you will be degree qualified and if you are keen to progress this could be an excellent opportunity to develop in a growing business.
