Dowding & Mills specialises in the refurbishment of electrical equipment including motors and generators and also has expertise in repairing electronic control systems and the associated mechanical driven units such as pumps and gearboxes.
Principal duties and responsibilities
Main duties: Strip and rewind of AC/DC motors (more AC bias)
Secondary duties: Test, dismantle /assemble AC/DC motors
Working Conditions

Workshop Environment based in Dyce
•Working Hours
8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour lunch
• Attendance
Monday to Friday, overtime may be required according to job requirements
Attainments
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship preferred
• Experience in Ex equipment preferred but not essential
• Proven experience ,if not fully qualified would certainly be considered i.e. semi skilled
• Offshore certs etc beneficial but not essential
