A leading engineering company who provide climate control solutions are looking for a Sales Consultant to survey and design ventilation and heating systems for both industrial and commercial buildings, and develop new and existing business opportunities.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Sales consultant with an understanding of condensation systems, humidity, filtration, noise levels, ductwork design and sizing, and gas and oil design/szing.
BASED AT: Home Office (North)
The Climate Control Division provides internal climate control solutions to both industrial and commercial buildings utilising natural ventilation, solar shading and air conditioning systems.
- Selling the range of products including natural ventilation, heating systems, powered extract and the air conditioning system to the UK owner occupier and construction (specifier) market.
- Initial site survey and problem analysis to system design and costing is required to satisfy this role.
Deliver service excellence in customer relationship management
- Develop, maintain and build sales from both the UK owner occupier industry and new build construction industry.
- To actively promote the Natural Ventilation systems by developing, maintaining and building sales from the UK owner occupier industry and specifier market.
- Promote complete system package including survey, design and installation where possible include Solar Shading packages.
- Communicate effectively with post order team for a better understanding of the system.
Innovation approach to internal and external issues within the division and its customers
- Assist customers by problem solving and differentiating the product/system from competitors.
- Monitor competitor's prices and product range. Report on new and innovative systems.
EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Proven track record in selling HVAC systems
- Good technical understanding of natural ventilation systems, heating systems and the VRV/VRF air conditioning.
- Good understanding of ISO 9001 and BS EN measures
- Demonstrate a track record of achievement in performance to targeted sales
- Has own established customer base
QUALIFICATIONS
- HNC/HND in Building Services Related Studies (Mechanical)
- Building Services Degree
(Mechanical)
- NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds Heating & Ventilation

- Self motivated and driven
- Technically astute
The 30k-34k+ 2k bonus for hitting target and % bonus for overall target achievable 50k-60k OTE, car, pension.
