APPROVALS ENGINEER - WITHAM - UPTO £30,000
Our clients an electronics manufacturing company are looking to recruit an Aprrovals Engineer to gain and maintain approval for products from third party approval agencies and ensure that products meet regulatory requirements. If you are an experienced Aprrovals Engineer then read on............
Duties:
Design review and feedback to engineering team to ensure that product designs meet the requirements.
Present data and product samples in a format that ensures rapid and economic approval.
Support the approval process as ad hoc queries arise.
Ensure that approved products (only) carry appropriate markings, by liaison with production engineering team
Review the construction files agreed with TPAA to ensure that products are manufactured as agreed.
Amend files in conjunction with TPAA as required.
Ensure that re approval to replacement standards is conducted in good time
Escort visiting inspectors on factory audits.
Maintain records of statutory requirements in all applicable markets.
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in engineering or HND preferred.
Engineering background with experience of 3rd party approvals e.g UL, BV, Lloyds and CSA
Engineering and Manufacturing experience..
Candidates should be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
It is essential to work as part of a cross-functional team and have regular contact with managers, directors and other personnel.
You will be flexible, adaptable and willing to train.
Good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Hours are Mon - Thurs 7.55 am to 4.35pm Fri 7.55am to 13:15pm
