Due to continued market success an opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer to work in this leading niche manufacturer of equipment for the process industry.
The company offer compete solutions from R&D to installation and after sales support and have secured their position in industry through their focus on constant innovation.
This is a key role within the business. You will be responsible for providing effective application selection and tendering of a specific product range in support of the sales team to maximise product order intake requirements and ultimately grow the business. You will have complete responsibility for your product group on a world wide basis.
Key accountabilities will include:
Reviewing client enquiries technically and commercially and preparation cost estimates & quotations.
Either directly or through sales negotiating with customers after review of orders.
Support sales in the initiation of sales orders and submission of any necessary engineering data / information
Preparation and submission of proposals for the specification of new products to improve competitiveness
The ideal candidate will ideally be HNC+ qualified in an engineering discipline and have a track record in applications engineering on mechanical / electro-mechanical products. Excellent interpersonal skills and a good level of computer literacy essential.
