A leading display solutions company in London is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join their innovative team. A strong electronics understanding with general schematic design, software/firmware development skills is a must.
A leading display solutions company in London is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join their innovative team. A strong electronics understanding with general schematic design, software/firmware development skills is a must.
In this role you will be supporting the product management team through interfacing with all internal functions (engineering, sales, marketing and operations) with the ultimate goal of enhancing the product experience for their customers
Duties & responsibilities include:
> Technical evaluation of new displays offered by potential new suppliers (review technical specification, determine interface requirements, evaluate optical performance, highlight potential risks/challenges)
> Responsible for collating and creating technical documentation to be used by internal and external customers as front line support
> Maintain the technical library
> Co-ordinate availability of the Pre-Sales Promotional materials
> Build demo kits and prototypes
> Work closely with Engineering team (assist prototype testing, prepare technical documentation,)
> Provide support to Marketing Communications
Competencies & Education requirements:
> Electronics engineer with general schematic design, software and firmware development skills
> Strong understanding of displays technologies from applications perspective
> Experienced in working with embedded system
> Developed projects involving LCD technology (desirable)
