Our Client packages and distributes classical pharmaceuticals, OTC medicines, nutritionals, next-generation vaccines and biological products throughout the world. Operating on behalf of three major brand names, the manufacturing output extends to 300 product lines at their 22 acre, state of the art manufacturing facility in Hampshire. They have the immediate requirement for an Applications Administrator.

Operating on behalf of three major brand names, the manufacturing output extends to 300 product lines at their 22 acre, state of the art manufacturing facility in Hampshire. They have the immediate requirement for an Applications Administrator. This role will be responsible for the satisfactory operation, maintenance, configuration and administration of Engineering computerized applications.
The jobholder will also support the process of continuous improvement and development of such applications used site wide. In addition to routine system housekeeping and administration duties, the jobholder will provide technical support and training to system users and work closely with other departments to support new implementations, modifications and validation activities as required to assure GMP compliance. The role is a highly complex one that requires an eye for fine detail and exemplary documentation. It is also a new role to the site and the incumbent will be expected to assist and contribute to the on-going development of it. Approximately 60% of the activities are well defined and subject to procedural controls, the balance being of a more ad hoc nature dependant on business needs and requirements.
Personal Requirements:
•Nationally recognized apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
•HNC in Electrical, Electronics or Controls Engineering or recognized equivalent.
•The job holder must have post training, relevant experience in controls and systems engineering, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
•Proven track record in engineering, commissioning, trouble-shooting, maintaining and upgrading computerized process control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, BMS, QBMS).
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, and be self-motivated.
Flexibility and adaptability in accepting new challenges.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships at all levels within the organization.
