Exciting opportunities for Application packagers have arisen with our client in Reading, a world leading defence IT consultancy working on the large scale DII project. The successful candidates will be required to be security cleared to SC level (prior to appointment). The DII will consolidate numerous existing information networks into a single next generation infrastructure and will link 340,000 users in approximately 2000 locations. Candidates will join the existing packaging team on the account and will have experience with using Wise of Installshield to create MSI packages. The environments the packages will be used in are based on Active Directory 2003/XP. Candidates will have used software distribution packages (Radia or SMS preferable) and working experience of MSI creation and delivery and good knowledge of the Windows installer technology and Active Directory.
