I am looking to recruit an Applications Engineer to be based in Colchester, Essex. This is a permanent opportunity. The ability to communicate effecti
ely with the company's customers at an engineering level both verbally and in writing is an important additional requirement, as is working as part of a team. Experience in at least three of the areas below is essential Knowledge of x86 architecture (ideally including a good understanding of PCI and / or PCI Express) C, and assembly languages System Administration using Linux VxWorks or other real-time operating systems Systems programming for Windows XP or Linux Embedded software development Knowledge of VME or CompactPCI bus architecture.
