Our client a global telecoms provider require an Application Designer to join their team working to provide a service to a large government end client
The successful candidate must have very strong experience of solution analysis and design using a range of platforms and technologies. Suitable candidates will have at least three years commercial experience in an analysis and design role, particularly in app design, messaging, database design and integration techniques. They should also be able to demonstrate experience in providing technical leadership to a small team of developers. Some of the main duties will include defining and documenting detailed solution designs in-line with the provided solution architecture and to quality standards. They will also be representing the team and potentially the whole account in meetings with the customer and other parties as necessary. The successful candidate will have a very strong development background and be familiar with detailed definition and design of integration solutions. They will have strong experience with data modelling, database design, and they should be familiar with how to produce their own accurate estimates for own work. They will be expected to work under pressure and deliver quality deliverables within project timescales. This role will be on an initial 6 month contract based either in Preston or Newcastle, and the daily rate of pay is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
