Antenna Design Engineer - Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire
A Senior RF Engineer is responsible for the design and development of antennas and associated RF products in accordance with specifications and agreed time scales.
The design and development of RF products to a specification, this includes testing and analysis of performance data;
Management of product design to a material cost target and project timescale;
Preparation of project budgets and timescales;
The use of RF design tools, both software and hardware;
Preparation of a monthly project report;
Writing of technical reports;
Maintaining written records of projects;
Formulation of specifications for new or modified products;
Review of customer specifications and the generation of appropriate responses;
Identification of existing products suited to customer requirements;
Effective liaison with staff operating in all departments of the Company
Occasional on-site commissioning of antenna installations;
Liaison with customer;
Training of junior staff as required.
A Senior RF Engineer will have a good first degree or postgraduate qualification in a suitable subject
Take responsibility for one or more projects, and their progression to timescale. The position requires a hands-on approach; Such tasks may on occasions require extended working hours and travel in the UK or overseas.
Company are currently based in Milton Keynes, but will be looking to relocate to the East Oxford area
