Description
This large, multi-national consultancy has an office situated in London, which is one of the company's largest, and provides corporate as well as technical support to development projects being run from their local offices in the UK and around the world.
This large, multi-national consultancy has an office situated in London, which is one of the company's largest, and provides corporate as well as technical support to development projects being run from their local offices in the UK and around the world.
They are currently undertaking some exciting Air Transport projects in most regions of the world and currently have teams in London, Manchester and at various locations in the Middle East. These projects cover airport privatization and due diligence assessments, master planning, airport economics and finance, terminal development, airside and landside engineering as well as surface access and environmental issues. They also carried out the managing consultant role for the UK Government's work that led to the recently published White Paper The Future of Air Transport which sets out a strategic framework for the development of airport capacity in the United Kingdom over the next 30 years. They now wish to recruit two airport planners to there team in London.
As an ideal candidate you will have demonstrable post-graduate experience and a good grounding in planning, land use and safeguarding principles based on your familiarity with ICAO and CAP 168 planning guidelines. Your experience will probably include exposure to modelling and simulation techniques and you will have good team working skills.
