Airframe Fitter is required to work on an MOD site based in York.
We are looking for an Airframe Technician to work for an Aerospace company in York.
Your main purpose will be to conduct on and off aircraft maintenance of aircraft airframe systems and equipment.
Your main duties will include:
Maintain, functionally check and fault find to component level on airframe systems
Carry out airframe system functional checks
Carry out repairs to aircraft structures, panels and doors
Undertake scheduled maintenance of airframe systems using authorised maintenance procedures
Carry out flight servicing and participate as a member of an aircraft ground handling team.
Ideally you will be from an Ex-forces background ranked as Junior Non Commissioned Officer. You must have an apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject.
It is preferred that you have a structural background.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri.
The salary is 19,308 per annum.
