Airbus UK is currently recruiting Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineers to join its team in Filton, Bristol. This role involves the analysis of aircraft structure using fatigue and crack growth methods to develop optimum design solutions.
Successful candidates will have sound experience working as a Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer, preferably in the aircraft industry. You will have been involved in fatigue and crack growth analysis of composite and metallic structures using a broad range of standard hand and computer methods. Knowledge of the application of Finite Element analysis and an understanding of aircraft production methods and processes would be beneficial.
