This client are a construction and property development company, specializing in a variety of exciting developments including both residential & commercial, They are seeking an ambitious, pro-active hands on individual to manage their finance functions:

This client are a construction and property development company, specializing in a variety of exciting developments including both residential & commercial, They are seeking an ambitious, pro-active hands on individual to manage their finance functions:
This role will involve;
• Management of all aspects of the companies finance function
• Responsible for influencing business decisions through cashflow and analysis which provide sound management information for the managing director
• Produce weekly management report for the managing director
• Responsible for ensuring company compliance with external bodies and their requirements including banks, revenue and other construction industry regulations
• Review and analyze costs for building projects and compare actual to budgeted cost variances
• Evaluate the viability of future projects
• Cashflow management
• Bank reconciliations
• Dealing with all tax heads, providing proactive and innovative tax advice
• Interaction with revenue- audits, expression of Doubt, error/mistake claims etc.
• Ad hoc duties under the direction of the managing director
• Be flexible in approach in work and be prepared to work with as occasion would permit of the accounts payable position ie; invoice clearing & wages
• Deal with issues that arise as a result of international property development, as this client are in the process of setting up an office in Poland.
The Ideal candidate will be;
• Qualified professional accountant e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA (with a leading Audit Practice)
• Preparation of Irish corporation Tax and VAT exposure liaising with external advisors as necessary
• Team player who is proactive and has a flexible approach to work, meeting the needs of the team and the business at all times
• Strong organization and administration skills be a self starter who is motivated and innovative
• Preferably worked in a construction industry previously (but not essential)
For your efforts packages generally consist of;
•Basic salary of 45,000+
