Position Description:
This role has the responsibility for the HLDF component / system. As the owner of this customer facing system you will be responsible for : Validation of design for the system including testing systems in several languages (prior knowledge of these languages is not required), validating the customer interface and interface to the MOST vehicle network. Champion the creation and update of Functional Area Descriptions, System Requirement Documents and Software Requirement Specifications for the introduction of all features. Creation and delivery of Design verification plans. Coordinate the resolution of AIMs / e-Trackers / Issues to achieve targetted glidepath to closure. Champion analysis and resolution of electrical PD issues impacting Business performance - screen washout issues. Use of problem solving tools as appropriate e.g. G8d, 6 Panel.
Skills Required:
Skills: Knowledge of MOST/CAN based infotainment systems - essential. Experience of human interface (HMI) design - essential. Experience of in vehicle control systems - essential. Knowledge of FPDS / GPDS - desirable. Knowledge of PD toolsets (AIMS / WERS / E-tracker) - essential. Capability of working in a pro-active and pressured environment - essential. Knowledge and application of quality and problem solving tools - essential. Ability to interact and communicate at all levels within the business, suppliers and customers- essential.
