Position Description:
Co-ordination & presentation of Performance, Economy and Driveability status for new programmes. Demonstrate good understanding of new technologies that can influence Performance, Economy and Driveability. Development and application of key analysis tools (WOT estimator/reporter, CVSP) to identify comparative PED metrics for vehicle technologies. Lead competitor benchmark planning and all key performance, economy and driveability test requirements for new programmes.

Skills Required:

Develop and maintain an EU In-Service test plan. Secure the supply of vehicles (involves negotiating with dealers and other agencies). Ensure vehicles are transported to and from test facilities. Ensure vehicles are tested to EU Certification standards. File test results. Flag any test failures for further investigation by Engineering. Track and expedite investigations into failed vehicles. Collate all test reports and vehicle data. Manage test budget. Report test and budget status to Team Leader monthly.
Skills Required:
Proven project management required. Proven ability to achieve delivery, whilst maintaining positive working relationships with other providers. Must be proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Office.
Skills Preferred:
A driving license valid for use in the UK. Proficient in the use of MS Project.
Experience Required:
Lead role in project delivery - proven experience. Experience in Vehicle Failure Mode resolution. Experience of Emissions testing in at least one market.

The primary role of the TVM Facilitator is to support the Chassis Value Management Team manage the value and cost for both current and future vehicle models. This includes working with various commodity (Foundation Brakes/ Brake Actuation/ Parking Brake/ Pedals/ Subframe/ Suspension Parts/ Ball Joints/ Power Train mounts/ Wheels/ Spring & Dampers/ Steering Gear & Columns), Engineers and Buyers. The Facilitator would be required to identifying and loading Non Design (commercial) and Design gap closure actions in support of delivery of the commodity cost targets. Working with the various multi disciplined teams to develop Commodity Business Plans, identifying strategies that cover cost and technical objectives.
Skills Required:
Requirement to lead and project manage across functional teams to develop and deliver commodity plans with the minimum of supervision. Have a strong business acumen and an understanding of total cost engineering. Be an excellent communicator with good interpersonnel skills. Have excellent IT skills that allows reporting at various levels (inc. Excel, Power Point and database management ).
Skills Preferred:
