Description
Our client is a major consultancy providing commercial, economic and technical support to a range of commodity based markets including chemicals (fertilisers, polymers and plastics), minerals and metals. The businesses services include product based ones such as supply and demand forecasting, supply chain management and operational ones including plant profit improvement, benchmarking studies and investment/capex planning. With a background acquired in one of the above sectors, the job holder will undertake a varied and stimulating range of duties including developing a comprehensive understanding of sector/market production processes, supporting the development of cost models, visiting client sites in support of plant performance evaluations and production benchmarking studies, learning and implementing the companies performance/improvement practises, input into technology and project development evaluation, etc.
