AIT Programme Manager
Responsible to:
ENS Satellite AIT Departmental Manager Stevenage, and deputize for him in his absence

AIT Programme Manager

Outline Job Profile
Responsible to:
ENS Satellite AIT Departmental Manager Stevenage, and deputize for him in his absence

Responsible for:
To perform the role of AIT managers role in the department and also supporting/developing the AIT managers on Aeolus, Lisa, Gaia and SWARM

Main Role:
Looks after the day to day running of the AIT managers
Carries out the role of a Cost Account Manager within the SAP financial system of the ENS AIT programmes
Fostering the C-AIT ethos across UK and Eurpoean corporate sites, with the aim of aligning and standardising processes

Training
To provide advice to the ENS Satellite AIT Departmental Manager on training needs for projects and personnel.
Facilities and Accommodation
Identifies project facility requirements to ENS Satellite AIT Departmental Manager and C-AIT Logistics Management
Engineering Standards
Support ENS Satellite AIT in the production and maintenance of departmental standards and procedures

Progress reporting
Compile a Monthly Programme Report (MPR) reporting on progress and status for the Financial Status Report (FSR), manpower requirements consistent with Estimate At
Completion (EAC) to ENS Satellite AIT Departmental Manager

Desirable Personal Attributes:
Able to liaise effectively with Spacecraft AIT Managers, Project Managers, Customer Representatives, Systems Engineers and other project staff to ensure the AIT viewpoint is always represented when required
Able to use the company standard IT tools to input and manage information
Able to motivate and direct a team of managers and engineers to satisfactorily perform and complete the AIT and Project objectives

Qualifications and/or Skills
All candidates shall have as a minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline, clear report writing and presentation skills.

Previous Experience
Essential
Leadership role on large or prime projects is essential
Production of high quality documentation (SOW S, test specs, test plans, test procedures, AIT Plans, DDV plans)
Must have experience in the Space industry
Management of teams

Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
