Description
We have an Immediate Contract requirement for a PLC/Scada Software Commissioning Engineer with RSLogix or APACS systems experience
Overtime rates:
Basic Hours - £30 per hour LTD
+40 Hours (Weekday Overtime) - £36 per hour LTD
Saturday Overtime - £40 per hour LTD
Sundays & Bank Holidays - £50 per hour LTD

Role Summary:
You will work as part of a site-based team commissioning a PLC/SCADA based Control System on a Power Generation project. Initially the role will be site based and involve carrying out site surveys leading into design, installing and commissioning systems applications. This work will be up to 12 months duration.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Role Description:
Assistance in commissioning activities (I/O checks, device checks, sequence tests , performance tests etc)
Fault finding
Implementation of design changes
Interfacing with other hardware/software systems
All work undertaken to QA procedures
Essential Requirements:
At least 3 years demonstrable relevant experience
Appropriate software or electrical engineering qualification (degree/HND) or comparable industrial experience
Experience of Rockwell ControlLogix PLC's and/or Siemens APACS PLC's
Commissioning experience of PLC/SCADA based systems
Must be prepared to travel and work extended periods at customer sites
Current driving license
Desirable Requirements:
Experience/understanding of the Power Generation industry
Experience of iFIX SCADA
Experience of IEC61131 PLC software languages
Personal Qualities:
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
Have good communication skills
Be flexible in their methods of working
