A leading aerospace manufacturer in the South West of England is looking for 2D/3D Designer/Media Engineer to develop the media content with unique technical solutions, in accordance with innovative design concept and quality standards.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure deadline adherence to the defined priorities set by the Team Lead or Line Manager.
- To develop media content on time, to budget within the project specification and standards.
- To produce an effective and innovative media concept that meets our customers training objectives.
- Produce Multi-media to support Customer Courseware, for future and existing training programmes. Media production will include modelling, textures, lighting, visual effects, rendering (network), asset management, animation scripting, and alpha channelling using specialised software.
- Produce Multi-media to support Customer Courseware, for future and existing training programmes. Media production will include still graphics, animations, movies, interactive media, visual effects, web compression techniques, corporate themes and photos using specialised software.
- To work closely with the production and systems team to ensure that media products accurately reflect the conceptual design agreed with the customer.
- Respond quickly to customer needs and demonstrate customer care.
- Enhance teamwork by understanding the different skills sets, diverse personalities and competencies that will complement your own strengths and weaknesses within the development groups.
- To accept constructive feedback from Management, Team Leads, designers and developers to enhance working practices and product quality.
- Understand expectations on media products, implementation and quality.
- Contribute to the overall success of a project.
- Improve and update media for existing and ongoing projects, to satisfy internal and external customers are consistent and to the standards and budget of the project.
- Investigate new and updated versions of software to improve media production.
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of media industry;
- An understanding of 3D visualisation and media outputs;
- An understanding of modern training media or web delivered content;
- An understanding of either 3D Studio Max, Lightwave, Modo, and Catia V5 or similar;
- An understanding of Adobe products and other media market leaders or similar.
