Amajor rail contracting company based in Scotland is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
A major rail contracting company based in Scotland is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
For the QS role, you will be working as part of the project/contract team, ensuring profitability is achieved; ie income and margin targets are met.
For the SQS role, you will be required to implement the Commercial Policy for the Maintenance Contracts currently being undertaken making sure that the Company is capable of achieving the contracts specifications and they remain commercially viable for the business.
You will need to be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor or working towards Chartered status.
You will need to have comprehensive knowledge of Contract Law and Construction Practices along with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
Both roles are based in Hamilton, Scotland. The Senior QS role is paying c.£35-£40K; the QS role paying c.£30-£35K.
